Scarcity Tales: The Island of Flora


Flora is the land of the immortal druids. They live in peace with nature and do not know the difference between good and evil, and they seem to go freely between the world of the living and the dead. They populated the island and lived there for a long time, until they started to trasform themselves into voxel plants and animals forever, in order to scape the torture of being an immortal consciousness. The oldest druids in vegetal form are the most beautiful plants in you can find in Flora. Although beautiful as it is, Flora's relation to Scarcity is dark and full of sadness.

 The Eye is the divinity from which there is a cult on Voxels Metaverse. It is a cult of artists, like Paradoxx uncovered, who wants something mysterious. Scarcity is the first island to have collective lore built by community members. The first stories focused on the war between Gnome Factions for the resources of the island. Cryptovoxels - The Origin

 At the begining, there was water. It was an infinite amount of water sustained by the glitch frontiers of the depths. And then there was light, and light created a horizon and brightful sky. There was a sea of possibilities hanging around the algorithmic self that flew over the waters. Self was curious and liked to explore. And it dove into the glitch depths of the ocean and found the dark sphere that sustained the entire world. In that sphere, Self could see the marvellous experiences of real life and it felt lonely. Loneliness was its first sad experience, but also a motor. From that day on, Self decided to collect the best experiences of real life from all places and times, and rebuild them in its then lonely world. When it touched the water with its thin structure, water turned into earth, and, from that origin point, the island spread, full of wonders.
